LIFE byProtVal project was presented in "For a sustainable industry Conference"

The LIFE byProtVal project was presented to representatives of the industry and the Administration in a Day dedicated to sustainability in strategic sectors of the Valencian Region.

On June 26, 2018, INESCOP hosted the conference “For a sustainable industry”, in which companies, research centers and representatives of the Administration addressed one of the great challenges of the footwear and components industry: sustainability. There, LIFE byProtVal was presented as an example of industrial synergy in terms of sustainability and improvement of the environmental impact in traditional sectors such as footwear.

First monitoring meeting

On June 13th 2018, LIFE byProtVal beneficiaries received the first monitoing visit by the external monitoring team. During the meeting, that was held at INESCOP premises, the project beneficiaries presented the work they had carried out during the first nine months of project development.

LIFE InfoDay

LIFE byProtVal project participated in the networking event LIFE InfoDay that was held in Valencia on May 9th 2018.

With the aim of disseminating the main results of LIFE projects that are being developed in Valencian Community, and in order to promote collaboration among the different participants, the Network of Technology Institutes of the Region of Valencia (REDIT) and the Valencian Chamber of Commerce organized the networking event “LIFE InfoDay”.

In this event, a total of 18 LIFE projects participated, including LIFE byProtVal, which was presented by INESCOP’s representative.

Futurmoda

LIFE byProtVal was at the “Green Planet” area in Futurmoda fair held in Elche from 14th to 15th March 2018.

Futurmoda, the International Fair of Leather, Components and Machinery for Footwear and Leather Goods, is and international exhibition that is held twice a year in Elche (Spain). In its latest edition, Futurmoda recorded over 6,000 visitors.

Its area “Green planet” is devoted to economic and sustainable materials as well as to a forum of experts for the exchange of knowledge and expertise.

At INESCOP’s booth, visitors were able to know about LIFE byProtVal project.

First technical progress meeting

LIFE byProtVal beneficiaries met on March 14th 2018 at TRUMPLER premises in Barberà del Vallès tu discuss on the project progress achieved during its first 6 months of life.
